The Quiet Beauty of Simple Things is a collection that was a year in the making. In 2023, I made a commitment to exclusively photograph the landscape of the Nassau County Museum of Art whenever I was home in Glen Head and not out on other photographic expeditions.

  During the many days, weeks and months that I spent contemplatively wandering around the grounds, I passively waited for images to speak to me. Then, I would attempt to capture the raw beauty as I saw it. I wanted to create a body of work that showcased the quiet and simpleness of the land as the light and the seasons changed.
